About once a month or so I want to feature an artist I am enjoying. There is so much great horror art out there, and these creators deserve any love that comes their way. Here we go with #1, Wooded Woods (aka Kamila Mlynarczyk).

Social media has allowed people to find things they love easier than ever, things they never knew they were looking for. Have you ever seen someone’s art and you just know that you would be best friends with the creator? That is how it is for me and Wooded Woods.

There is a terrifying whimsy combined with the foreign innocence of a feral child in Kamila’s drawings. Her style is kind of minimal, sketchy lines and just enough colour to bring the images to life. The drawings look like they are from the sketchbook of a very disturbed person and each and every one makes me so happy. There are often very amusing bits of dialogue to go along with the drawings that take them to the next creepy level.
